The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee
Posted by Judith Raye on April 25, 2014
Elephants never forget! Last month I saw an amazing story about two circus elephants who endured years of abuse and neglect, at last finding sanctuary in Tennessee at the Elephant Sanctuary. Their names are Shirley and Jenny. It was so precious to see that they had not forgotten each other after all those years apart.
Most of you know that I am very involved with organizations that help children who have been sexually abused. After seeing this story, I knew I had to offer some assistance.
So I contacted The Elephant Sanctuary and got their permission to add a link for their website and offer a promotion to donate 20% of my sales of any elephant painting or print purchased for the entire month of May.
So if you are looking for a special gift for someone who LOVES elephants, this is a great time to stop by and shop. If you would like your name included when I send the donation, just let me know when you make your purchase with a note.
